Midwest Specialty Mortgage is seeking a driven, entrepreneurial Senior Mortgage Loan Originator to lead and grow our operations. As Senior Mortgage Loan Originator, you’ll have the autonomy to shape, recruit, and mentor Loan Originator Assistants (LOAs), and drive profitability across Illinois. You’ll also benefit from our extensive support, technology, and access to top-tier wholesale lenders offering a full range of products including conventional, FHA, VA, DSCR, bank statement, and other non-QM solutions.

Compensation Structure:
As a producing Branch Manager at Midwest Specialty Mortgage, you’ll benefit from a competitive and performance-driven compensation package:
- 120 to 150 basis points (bps) on personally originated and closed loans based on proven sales
- 20 bps override on loans originated by Loan Originator Assistants (LOAs) under your supervision
- Commercial loan compensation: 60/40 to 70/30 split (Originator/Company), with higher earnings potential on stronger-margin deals
- Opportunity for Bonus based on Personal and Corporate Performance

✅ What You’ll Do:
- Originate and close personal deals while supporting team production
- Recruit, train, and mentor LOAs and MLOs
- Build and maintain relationships with referral partners
- Ensure compliance and operational excellence
- Drive local marketing and community engagement
🎯 What We’re Looking For:
- Active NMLS license (Illinois required)
- Proven mortgage production experience of $12M+
- Leadership or team-building experience preferred
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills
- Entrepreneurial mindset and goal-oriented approach
